Crying teal tears right now.

The Stars nabbed him on a three-year, $21 million contract, an offer that the Sharks were unable to match due to cap space restrictions.

After being drafted in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Draft, Pavelski would go on to tally 355 goals and 406 assists in 963 games while wearing the San Jose teal. Each of those ranked in the top four in team history. Pavs served as the Sharks’ captain from 2015-2019. Last season, he was one of the team’s leading scorers with 38 goals.

O Captain, My Captain…we bid thee farewell! We wish you the best of luck in Dallas (except for when you play us, no hard feelings).

What is your favorite Joe Pavelski memory?
