From the Peninsula
Take the Dumbarton Bridge (highway 84) east, go south on 880, exit Mowry Ave East. Head toward the hills. The festival will be located on your right, starting at State Street.

From the South Bay

Take 880 North. Exit Mowry Ave. east. Head toward the hills. The festival will be located on your right, starting at State Street.

From the East Bay (Livermore, Pleasanton)

Take 680 west. Exit Mission Blvd. north (238 N) . Turn right onto Mission Blvd. Turn left onto Walnut Ave. The festival will be on your right, starting at Paseo Padre Parkway.

From the North Bay (Berkeley, Vallejo)

Take highway 880 south. Exit Mowry Ave East. Head toward the hills. The festival will be located on your right, starting at State Street.

Free parking can be found around the festival area. There is no official parking lot for the Fremont Festival of the Arts, except for the Wine Garden preferred spots. Some lots may be closed to Festival attendees, while private businesses may charge for parking in their parking lot.

“HOT PINK FLAMINGOS: STORIES OF HOPE IN A CHANGING SEA” SPECIAL EXHIBITION OPEN: New animals capture visitors’ hearts and minds in “Hot Pink Flamingos.” Seven galleries weave together stories about the many ways climate change is affecting ocean animals and tales of hope involving people and communities that are turning the tide on climate change. Visitors come face-to-face with tropical wading birds, green sea turtles, hypnotic jellies, playful Magellanic penguins, vibrant coral reef community and several thought provoking interactive displays.

Monterey Bay Aquarium extends its summer hours until 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday nights from July 3 through Labor Day weekend, September 5. In addition to most exhibits, “Evenings by the Bay” also includes live jazz compliments of Monterey Jazz Festival student programs, Estancia vineyards wine tasting from 6 – 6:30 p.m., and the option of purchasing wines by the glass, food or cocktails until 8 p.m. Weekday aquarium hours July 3 to September 6 are 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily.
