I was looking at my FB comments this morning on Starbucks..
So many of you spend so much time and money there. I will stop by occasionally, usually when I’m with my daughter Victoria, but it’s not a must for me. I actually buy more McDonalds coffee than anything else. Every weekend morning after the Gym. Can’t beat $1 a large!! Peets is too strong for me and Philz is really too strong for me. At the grocery store, I usually by Dunkin Donuts coffee which is pretty mild.
But here are the 6 things not even Starbucks fans usually know.
For the past 27 years, Starbucks has opened an average of 2 shops a day, every day.
Santa Fe Springs, down in So. Cal has the highest concentration of Starbucks in the country. 560 within a 25 mile radius.
A Grande coffee has 330 milligrams of caffeine… 4 times more than Red Bull.
They had a profit last year of $1.25 billion dollars, which works out to 2 Grande coffees bought by every single American.
For some iced drinks you can get a 31 ounce Trenta which is larger than the capacity of the human stomach.
2 out of 10 customers go to a Starbucks at least 16 times a month.
