This so caught my eye this morning...
Summer vacation is over for me, but maybe you're about to go somewhere.
Check this headline...hotels are jumping aboard the fee bandwagon...
Forget the overpriced goodies in the mini bar. It's about to get worse...
Like all the extra fees, airlines and car rental companies are adding on, hotels are starting to do the same.
Some budget hotels are now charging $1-50 a night to use the in room safe.
Others are charging you to have the bellhop store your luggage...$1 or $2 a bag
I heard some hotels are even charging as much as $30 if you arrive early and want to check in. If the room is ready, and it's going to be yours why can't you just walk in. I think this charge bothers me the most as I almost always arrive before check in.
And if they start charging for internet again...I'm really out of there.
I dont know about you but I love staying in hotels.
I may have to start reading the fine print.
What kind of charge will bug you the most? Maybe you've already had to pay it. I just hope hotels dont go the way of airlines...and leave us no choice but to pay up.
