Okay…Dads of the bride or in my case Mom of the Bride…
Time to look for a second job…LOL
And yes I am doing the MOB thing again since Christina is now getting married.
So whenever I see the 2 words “Wedding Costs”….I take a look.
Today’s $ signs are brought to you by TheKnot.Com and Wedding Channel.com. They interviewed almost 18,000 brides and found that the average cost of a wedding this year is just over $28K but 13% of brides spend over $40K.
Here’s the breakdown:
--Wedding/Event Planner: $2,379
--Ceremony site: $1,711
--Reception venue: $12,905
--Reception band: $3,084
--Reception DJ: $988
--Wedding gown: $1,211
--Wedding cake: $560
--Ceremony musicians: $554
--Catering cost per guest: $63
--Wedding day transportation: $708
--Rehearsal dinner: $1,135
--Engagement ring: $5,431
So….your comment? LOL!!
BTW…you might want to save this for future reference.
And how many of you are as lucky as me? You get to plan two weddings that will end up being just two years apart? Actually I'm very lucky. I wouldn't trade any of it!!!
