So all the talk this morning was about the Beatles Tribute
and the Olympics but what about Leno and Fallon?
Jay’s final episode drew 14.6 million viewers. May be misleading as I think a lot of people were like me and DVR’d it so didn’t get included in the numbers. It was his shows biggest audience since May of 1998, when Jerry Seinfeld was a guest the night of the Seinfeld finale. That night 15 million watched. I’ve got to say it was a great final show for Jay. Wonder when Letterman’s is coming?
As for Jimmy Fallon who had a final night too of Late Night since he’s moving on up….he drew a record 6.6 million. I Didn’t even think of watching as I didn’t think of it as his farewell show.
