Were you a fan of The Dating Game? It made host, JIM LANGE a TV star, but his heart belonged to local radio. He said that good radio will always be the most fun--plus, you don't have to wear makeup or shave." We lost Jim Tuesdayat the age of 81.
Brian McCracken, Nancy Hoptar, Ed Krampf and 24 others like this.
Sorry for your loss Jona. I know dj's are a closed netted family.
I loved the dating game... was a fan of Mr. Lange. RIP
I remember my Mom listening to him on KSFO (I think) and later KABL I believe
Jona, we also lost Terrlyn Thomas from KFAT yesterday...
Aww loved him!
Another loss from the "Glory Days" of SF AM Radio led by KSFO with personalities like Jim, Don Sherwood, Al Collins, and Carter B. Does anyone remember a local game show that Jim hosted on KGO 7 called "Oh My Word", saturday nights in the early '60's
